I recently purchased the cooler mate, and I absolutely love it. It is so handy , I take it everywhere . Easy to use. They even have a clip so you can attach your towel to it. This is a must buy !

I bought the largest size just in case I decided to use it for something else. But I attached it to my range finder and clipped it onto my bino case for security! Worked great for riffle hunting. Could be loud for archery if you let it retract on its own because the two pieces of plastic hit quick. So far I really like it. But I only used it for one week.

Solid, well-built and does exactly what it supposed to do.

The internal mechanism makes scratching noises when extending or retracting the tether that would spook any animal within bow range. The back of the small side-release buckle also makes a loud snapping sound when fully retracted even after fitting a piece of moleskin at the contact point to soften it. I determined it would be far to easy for this tether to ruin a hunt. There's already enough that can go wrong without the help of noisy equipment. I decided to go with a more simple coiled tether that makes absolutely no sound.

If being noisy isn't an issue for you, this retractable tether does what is it supposed to.

It gets pulled out and retracted multiple times per day. No issues so far.

My sturdy custom "Riverstick" wading staff made in Canada weighs about 1 lb. The wading staff retractor I was using with a hiking pole wading staff allowed the Riverstick to drop below easy reach. The Boomerang XD retractor keeps the Riverstick tight against the retractor housing so it's within easy reach. I opted for the strap attachment that I loop around my "rigger" wading belt and it works great.

great way to keep track of tools /etc. while flyfishing, already own a couple for my wife and I wanted some extras so I didn't have to decide what not to attach.

I've been using one of these for several years and now couldn't imagine going fishing without it!
Strong and durable too. I keep one in my boats and my kayak. I've never had one fail unless I stepped on it or something similar...
Buy one, you won't regret it...

The pull cord on your boomerang cutters need to be jus a ring because I jus attach the ring to a more reliable zinger ..my last pair the pull string didn't retract and made the cutter useless...or make the zinger more heavy duty.

There is little more to say about these products. If you want something that will last, this is it.

I use my tether to save my cell phone. I attach the tether to a stick-on-ring on my cell phone and clip it to my waist. When I drop my cell phone, it never hits the ground. Saved myself lots of money and the bother of replacing phones. Thank for your such a versatile product. Also attached it to a small point-and-shoot camera to avoid the obvious catastrophe of dropping it.

Wouldn't fit through my garmin sport pro e collar remote but I improvised and made it work. Other than that the tether is strong and exactly what I was looking for.

I needed a way to easily carry my handheld device for my pointing dogs gps collars. I tried other ideas that didn't work for me, but this became my perfect solution!

I have bought the Retractable Gear Tether with a Universal Easy Change End Fitting and found it perfectly to my liking! It is a very solid design with the perfect adjustment of the spring, perfect cord length makes me use it on daily basis.

Works as expected

Needed something to hold up those heavier items and this did the trick.

Good cutters but the retractable lanyard should be non retractable with jus a ring to attache it to a retractable lanyard ..my last pair the retractable spring wore out and the cutter would work anymore

Terrible service. Was charged for the items, given a tracking number, and yet weeks later, NEVER either received the items, nor was the tracking status ever updated to show that they were even picked up by UPS!!! I am submitting PayPal for a refund. I should have never deviated ordering from my original vender for these. Good thing I really didn't need them immediately.

I use my multipurpose tool throughout the day but use to spend as much time locating where I left it as time that I used it. Now I keep it stashed just inside my right pants pocket with the retractor attached to a belt loop.

I use it for my GPS while Hiking/Geocaching. It heavy duty and last.

Initially bought this to attach my diving console, however I have an old school bulky console and it’s too heavy for this clip. I used it for my dive light instead and have been very happy about it!

I bought the largest size Retractable Scuba Diving Tether because of the Universal End Fitting. I needed something adjustable that would work with my camera dive housing when I went SCUBA diving. Out of the water it works great. Looking forward to taking it diving next month.

Got this for my GoPro while scuba diving. It’s super easy to use but I should have got a stronger one because my GoPro hangs a little when I am out of the water.

Finally a retractable tether that is durable - I use this to attach my pin pointer / probe when metal detecting under water.
