Good cutters but the retractable lanyard should be non retractable with jus a ring to attache it to a retractable lanyard ..my last pair the retractable spring wore out and the cutter would work anymore

How can I give a review on a product I NEVER received!!!!

Terrible service. Was charged for the items, given a tracking number, and yet weeks later, NEVER either received the items, nor was the tracking status ever updated to show that they were even picked up by UPS!!! I am submitting PayPal for a refund. I should have never deviated ordering from my original vender for these. Good thing I really didn't need them immediately.

Finally a retractable tether that can actually be used for a tool.

I use my multipurpose tool throughout the day but use to spend as much time locating where I left it as time that I used it. Now I keep it stashed just inside my right pants pocket with the retractor attached to a belt loop.

I use it for my GPS while Hiking/Geocaching. It heavy duty and last.

Very handy

I bought the largest size just in case I decided to use it for something else. But I attached it to my range finder and clipped it onto my bino case for security! Worked great for riffle hunting. Could be loud for archery if you let it retract on its own because the two pieces of plastic hit quick. So far I really like it. But I only used it for one week.

Solid, well-built and does exactly what it supposed to do.

Too loud to use for hunting

The internal mechanism makes scratching noises when extending or retracting the tether that would spook any animal within bow range. The back of the small side-release buckle also makes a loud snapping sound when fully retracted even after fitting a piece of moleskin at the contact point to soften it. I determined it would be far to easy for this tether to ruin a hunt. There's already enough that can go wrong without the help of noisy equipment. I decided to go with a more simple coiled tether that makes absolutely no sound.

If being noisy isn't an issue for you, this retractable tether does what is it supposed to.

Using it for work.

It gets pulled out and retracted multiple times per day. No issues so far.

Exactly what I need and better than expected

The ProHolster Electronics Protective Holster for Radios and Handheld GPS is exactly what is needed to carry the GMRS radio. It is a well engineered and soundly made adaptable holster. Just what an active person needs to hold and protect their GMRS radio.

Protect your Electronics

We can all live without " Oh Sh__ " moments in the field when you realize you've lost a $1,000, dog tracker trainer GPS. Won't happen with the ProHolster, teathered to a secured shoulder holster and bungee corded in place so it doesn't fall out while scrambling. Solid equipment, highly recommend it. May be a bit small for units over 6 inches tall.

Radio holster

I have not used them yet but the look well made. Please send me another request after Dec 18th. I will have tested them.

Great product

Having recently lost my expensive handheld hiking GPS due to a momentary lapse of judgement in securing it in the trunk of my car following a hike, I was determined to find a way to prevent this from happening again in the future. After a lot of online research, I landed on this retractable holster. I am using the Garmin GPSMap 66i, which is a 6.4" tall GPS. The unit itself is about 5.5" tall (not including the antenna). This Garmin unit has a perfect fit in the holster. Now, I have the pouch secured to the shoulder straps of my hiking pack, and the GPS unit securely tethered to the pouch itself. This will keep the unit safe from getting accidentally lost in the future while also making it easily accessible while out in the field. I'm very happy with this product!

Convenient repairs when parts break

Nothing lasts forever, and I give my retractable tether a workout every day as I attached it to my Otter Box which holds my iphone. I attach it to my waist band everyday and never worry about losing it, leaving it, or dropping it. When I wear out the attachable parts, I can just replace them with an on-line order. First and foremost I love treign products. But I am giving this a one star review because I ordered a three item accessory pack and was sent the work g item.

Great accessories for a super product!

I have a wind meeter which has a tiny space for attachment of a lanyard. The lanyard broke getting snagged on a branch. The cord accessory attachment works perfectly with it and my T-REIGN retractable device can't get snagged. A perfrct solution I've been searching for for several years.

Attach my HD camera and it worked perfectly.

I like the overall look and concept. The attachment has saved my phone from drops several times and makes it easy to retrieve phone from pocket.
1) The adhesive pad has stayed attached extremely well to phone case. Very pleased with this aspect.
2) The white core of the attachment cord loop could be seen slightly when received, at the point the loop goes into the plastic housing. After using it a couple of weeks, more core is showing, looking as if it may come apart and causing me to not trust the cord not to break. I plan to contact company and ask for replacement.
